UPDATE

IT has been a long time since I have updated this BLOG and feel guilty for NOT having done so. However, there hasn't been much to report.......................

Lots and lots of ideas on how to take this forward towards our target goal of £1 million but little time to pursue those ideas............ Maybe a kick may get me moving or another few hours in the day or an extra day or two a week.

New Year's Resolution............... To move this forward!

On a more positive note............ total fundraising is approaching £2,000 and this will be passed if I manage to collect all the outstanding money that was sponsored for the bike ride/fun run last June.

Will update one his is complete.

Fundraising and future projects.

Today's event held at East Norfolk College was well supported. There was a significant level of interest in Build a School's stand and £34.18 was raised through donations and the sale of African jewellery, batiks, pots and other African crafts.

The proceeds of other fundraising events will be added at a later date.

We are most grateful for the support of the College, the students and especially Karen Mayfield and the students of the fundraising committee.

A lot of interest was also shown in a trip to Kenya as proposed by the students themselves.

A number of students were also up for participating in the Cromer to Gt. Yarmouth walk which is tentatively planned for Saturday 19th June....................... Walking the whole length of the Weavers Way in a 24 hour period................... all 60 miles of it!.............. MUST BE MAD!!!!
